Varanus priscus
The Megalania is an Australian venomous monitor lizard that has a maximum length of 7 meters. They prey on medium-small animals, and are carnivorous. They are extinct, and Megalania fossils are very uncommon, so it was hard to find out their true maximum size. The name "Megalania" means "great roamer," but people have had many naming confusions with it. It is confirmed that they posess venom glands in their jawline, so they are venomous like the Komodo Dragon and Lace Monitor.
