Lizards are a class of reptiles that live in all continents, except for Antarctica. The largest living is the Komodo Dragon, a type of Monitor Lizard. Although some lizards have the ability to detach their tail in order to get away from predators, not all lizards can do this.
Human interaction Edit
Most lizards aren't known to hurt humans at all. However, the Komodo Dragon has been known to stalk, attack, and sometimes even kill humans using their strength, claws, and venom. The Gila Monster and Beaded Lizard's venom usually won't kill people, but their bites are extremely painful because of their powerful jaws. Even though some lizards, such as the Komodo Dragon, are dangerous, many people keep other lizards, such as geckos and chameleons as pets.
