The frille lizard is a kind of Australian lizard that is best known for its retractable neck frill. The maximum size of one is 91.4 centimeters long.

Diet Edit

These lizards are insectivores that eat cicadas, beetles, termites, butterflies, moths, spiders, other lizards, and small mammals.

Reproduction Edit

Frilled lizards breed in the early wet season from September to October. Adult males display their frills and fight to get mates. 1-2 clutches of 8–23 eggs are laid from early to mid-wet season in November to February.
