Jinfengopteryx

The Jinfengopteryx is a Cretaceous dinosaur that grew up to be about 2 feet long. It is unknown what they ate, but they probably ate seeds from Cretaceous plants. Their name comes from "Jinfeng," golden phoenix, and "pteryx," meaning "feather." Their fossils were discovered in China, and the golden phoenix is the queen of birds in Chinese folklore, which is where the Jinfengopteryx got its name.
