Baby American Alligator.

An American alligator is an alligator that are usually 11.2-14.5 feet long as adult males, when adult females are usually 8.2-9.8 feet long.

Food choices[]

They feed on fish, birds, turtles, snakes, mammals, and amphibians. Babies eat invertibrates, insects, larvae, snails, spiders, worms, and other small creatures.

Reproduction[]

Spring is when breeding season begins. The females use vegetation, sticks, mud, and leaves to build a nest in a sheltered area either in or next to the water. She lays 20-50 eggs in the nest, then puts more vegetation on them.
