A beaded lizard is a Mexican lizard with a venomous bite. They can grow up to be 24-36 inches long.

Food choices Edit

Beaded lizards eat bird eggs, reptile eggs, small birds, mammals, frogs, lizards, and insects.

Reproduction Edit

They mate in September and October, and the female lays 2-30 eggs between October and December. The eggs hatch the next June or July. Baby beaded lizards spend the first 2-3 years of their lives underground, and after that, they emerge and live the rest of their lives above ground.
